We spent last night at the Bear Cove Inn in St. Ignace. Every room is decorated to appear as though you're sleeping in the forest. Woke to the sound of a growl. It might have been my snoring.

Otherwise, I could post a picture of the physical outcome of our encounter with one of Michigan's famous whitetail deer who chose to bounce off the passenger side of our rented Mitsubishi Outlander. ...and Susan wondered why I want a vehicle with "substance".
